LONG BIO
A working class soul.
A ten pound steel guitar.
A voice dripping of nostalgia.
Nick Andrew Staver has emerged as a captivating American Roots & Blues songwriter and the blue collar valleys of southern Pennsylvania could easily be labeled as his co-writer.
Writing and recording as a solo artist since 2014 has led to the release of albums including Medicine (2020), Live. In House (2021) and recent studio release, Rust Don’t Shine.
Rust Don’t Shine fan favorites “Laramie” & “In The Morning” are featured as perfect examples of Nick’s versatility between both folk and blues writing. From start to finish the album transports the listener, from the hospital floors of “Maybe It’ll Shine”, the steel mills of “Rusted Belt” and right into the moonshiners hideout of “Appalachian Moon”
Stepping into 2024, Nick’s live performances guarantee to be an unveiling to expose parallels between his personal journey and the American experience, no matter the size of stage.
Each song lends a story to further develop the focus on the benefits and struggles that come with small town rural life.
RECENT DISCOGRAPHY:
RUST DON'T SHINE - 2022

IF ONLY I WERE LIKE THE RIVER - 2021

NOT SO LONG BIO
Nick Andrew Staver continues to emerge in the American Roots & Blues scene as a captivating songwriter and storyteller.
With home in Pennsylvania, it’s been the American road experience that has shaped his personality both on stage & off.
In benefit and hindrance.
But with touring at a halt in 2020, writing and recording the album "Medicine" was a safety harness to command Nick's attention.
And continues strong today into the new year.
After cancelling 2020 tours meant to support the new album, Nick took to supporting local businesses with online performances and eventually in-person social distant friendly gigs during the summer before returning to the studio to recording a followup acoustic album, Medicine Acoustic.
Nick anxiously waits for the roads to open in 2021, behind the release of a new single “If Only I Were Like The River,"
to take "Medicine" into the listening rooms that are the framework of the American music experience.
